BIBLE READING
For Ezra had devoted himself to the study and observance of the Law of the Lord, and to teaching its decrees and laws in Israel.
We will continue our commitment to spiritual growth as we engage with Scripture together. This year we challenge you to dedicate 20 minutes each day to reading,  We encourage everyone to spend an additional 20 minutes journaling, allowing for personal reflection and understanding as insights are revealed. You may find the SOAP method helpful as a guide in your study. Let us collectively commit to studying, living out, and sharing the teachings of the Scriptures throughout 2025.
SOAP
We recommend using the SOAP personal daily devotional method, which stands for Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer.
As you engage in this practice, consider jotting down your thoughts in a journal. This journaling can help you remember the blessings and important lessons that come your way, ensuring you don’t miss out on valuable experiences and wisdom.

SCRIPTURE
Read a passage in the Bible to understand what God wants to speak to you. Pick a verse that stands out to you and write it in your journal.

OBSERVATION
What is God saying in this Scripture? Ask the Holy Spirit to help you and explain Jesus’ message in your own words in your journal.

APPLICATION
Make it personal and think about how these verses relate to your life now. Write about how they can apply to you today.

PRAYER
Keep it simple. Ask God to help you use this Scripture or understand what He’s trying to say. Remember, prayer is a conversation, so listen to what God might be saying and write about it in your journal.
