Celebrate Recovery is led by Dane and Nicole Townson. Dane and Nicole Townson live in Wichita Falls. They have been married for 2 years and have 5 children ranging in age from 5 to 22 years old! Dane and Nicole have personally been affected by drug and alcohol abuse, as well as the hurts, habits, and hang-ups that come with them. Nicole celebrates 19 years of being clean and 6 1/2 years of sobriety. Dane works as a Corporate Estimator, while Nicole owns and operates a Cleaning and Organizing Business with a background in property management. They enjoy spending time with their family, cooking out, reading a good book, participating in praise and worship, attending sporting events, watching a good movie, and going on random adventures.
"We are passionate about our sobriety and committed to growing into the individuals that God has called us to be. We desire for God to work through us and use our experiences to help others in their own journeys. We hope to see everyone recover from anything that is preventing them from living the life that God has planned for them. After praying for God to guide us into a ministry to serve under Pastor John, God revealed to us the calling of recovery! Pastor John confirmed this calling, and now we are ready to serve as Celebrate Recovery ministry leaders at Legacy Church. We are incredibly excited for the opportunity to serve you, your children, and your friends and family. We look forward to meeting you and supporting you through your hurts, habits, and hang-ups, leading you into a deeper relationship with Jesus and others. Keep coming back!"
